Sponsor of the Digital SME Pavillion at INFOTEL 2025

LankaPay was proud to power the Digital SME Pavilion at INFOTEL 2025, Sri Lanka’s premier national ICT exhibition, held from 7th to 9th November 2025 at BMICH. Organized by the FITIS Digital Services Chapter in collaboration with the Industrial Development Board (IDB), the Digital SME Pavilion served as a dedicated platform to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with digital solutions — fostering innovation, financial inclusion, and the adoption of cashless payment technologies across the nation.

SMEs are the backbone of Sri Lanka’s economy, contributing 52% to the GDP. Over 75% of the country’s businesses fall within this sector, accounting for 45% of employment and 20% of exports, according to the ADB. As key drivers of growth and innovation, SMEs play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s journey toward economic revitalization. Through initiatives like this, LankaPay aims to drive Sri Lanka’s digital economy forward — bridging the technology-business gap and empowering over 1.4 million SMEs across the island to embrace a digitally inclusive future.
