GovPay Honoured with ASOCIO Digital Government Award at ASOCIO Awards 2025

We are proud to announce that GovPay – the Government Digital Payment Platform – has been honoured with the ASOCIO Digital Government Award at the ASOCIO Awards 2025, held on 11th November 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan.

A collaborative initiative by the Ministry of Digital Economy, the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), and LankaPay, GovPay continues to redefine digital government payments in Sri Lanka by enabling citizens to make secure, real-time payments for public services online. Since its launch in February 2025, GovPay has facilitated 52,158 payments across 3,130 citizen services from 203 government organizations, generating government revenue exceeding LKR 1.4 Billion. This marks the fourth prestigious recognition received by GovPay this year, highlighting its growing impact on digital transformation within the public sector.
