Mr. Palliyaguruge is an accomplished HR and Organization Development professional with over 28 years of extensive experience, currently serving as the Chief People Officer at LankaPay (Private) Limited. He possesses a proven track record of driving organizational success through the implementation of effective people development strategies. Throughout his career, Mr. Palliyaguruge has gained invaluable insights into the pivotal role that HR and Organization Development play in fostering a culture of performance excellence within companies.

His diverse background encompasses stints in various industries, including Electronics OEMs, BPOs, technology, and financial services. In each of these sectors, Mr. Palliyaguruge has spearheaded successful initiatives aimed at enhancing overall HR and organizational development.

Mr. Palliyaguruge holds a BSc Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master’s Degree from the University of Colombo. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HR from the University of Colombo. Prior to joining LankaPay, Mr. Palliyaguruge served as the General Manager of Innodata Lanka (Private) Limited, a BPO subsidiary of Innodata Inc., a publicly listed company on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in New York, USA.
