KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POSITION

Strategic HR Leadership: Act as a trusted partner to the CPO and senior management in corporate strategy, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives, translating business objectives into actionable people strategies.

HR Strategy & Operations: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise HR strategies, overseeing talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, learning and leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, welfare, HRIS, policies, and governance frameworks.

Culture, Change & Transformation: Drive culture, values, behavioral change, and change management initiatives, fostering ethics, inclusion, accountability, high performance, and employee experience aligned with LankaPay’s vision.

Total Rewards & People Analytics: Design and govern compensation, job architecture, rewards and benefits frameworks; leverage digital HR tools and analytics to support evidence-based decision-making and workforce optimization.

Employer Branding & Stakeholder Engagement: Enhance LankaPay’s employer brand, talent positioning, and engagement strategies; provide insightful reporting and recommendations to senior management.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure HR operations, policies, and processes comply with regulatory, audit, and industry standards while promoting innovation and best practices in people management.



QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or an MBA qualification.
  • 08–12 years of progressive HR experience, including 04–06 years at management or senior management level, preferably in a service-oriented, technology-driven business environment or the payment industry, including recognized multinational exposure or application of related processes.
  • Proven strategic and operational expertise in complex, regulated, or fast-evolving business environments, including transformational and restructuring initiatives demonstrated through successful HR planning, design, and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems, digital HR transformation, and people analytics, with the ability to translate strategy into impactful workforce solutions.
